The Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost
Savior of Sinners
Jesus asked, "Who do you say I am?" It's the most important question every human being must answer. Many think that Jesus was a wise teacher or a role model for love. Both answers miss the main point. Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and the Savior of sinners. This truth is the core of faith and worship.
Joyful Witness Rehearsals Begin
Do you love to sing? Joyful Witness would like to invite you to share your musical gifts in praise of our Savior! Our choir enjoys wonderful friendships and amazing music as we prepare for our Christmas concerts! Rehearsals are held every Sunday from 1:00-2:30 pm, beginning September 13th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North Fond du Lac.
Our Christmas Concerts will be held Friday, December 11th at 7pm & Saturday, December 12th at 2pm.
Whether you're an experienced choral member or simply enjoy singing, we’d love to have you join us! Come sing, enjoy fellowship, and help us share the joy of Christ’s birth with others this Christmas season. Come and be part of Joyful Witness! Feel free to contact Jeff Krumbein at 414-333-9211 with any questions.
Call Meeting Scheduled
Pastor Westphal declined the call to St. Paul’s to be our second full time Pastor. Please mark your calendars for Sunday, September 13th as we will be gathering as a congregation for a call meeting.
Widows & Widowers August Meeting
The Widows & Widowers Fellowship Group will meet at Gillies Frozen Custard, 819 S Main St, Fond du Lac, WI 54935 on Tuesday, August 25th , at 11:30am. The weather cooperated for our visit to Kelley’s in July, so we’re hoping for another nice day to enjoy being outside. If you’re not familiar with Gillies, they have a full menu of sandwiches in addition to fresh frozen custard. We will gather at the picnic tables behind the parking lot. Please RSVP to Dave Seibel at 920-948-9475 (call or text) or dseibelz56@gmail.com
Church Secretary Position Available
St. Paul's is seeking to fill our church secretary position, a full-time role with benefits, as we prepare for Amy Surian's last day on September 30. We are deeply grateful for Amy's years of faithful service and wish her well. This role serves as a welcoming first point of contact for our members and guests, and provides essential administrative support to our pastors and ministry leaders, from correspondence and bulletins to membership records and office operations, so that our called workers are freed to focus on the ministry of the Word.
If you or someone you know may be a good fit, please contact the church office at 920-922-1080, Pastor Ehlert, or reach out to a member of the Council. We ask for your prayers as we seek the right person to join our staff in this important work.
Facility Projects & Volunteer Requests
Do you notice something around the church building or grounds that needs a little extra care or attention? We want to help you get it done! Please grab a form from the church office or information desk and fill out the task name, the desired time frame, and the volunteers who are ready to work on it. Please return the completed form to the church office mailbox. Thank you for your stewardship and dedication to keeping our church home beautiful and welcoming for everyone!
